January 2026:

• Happy New Year, everyone!
• We have said goodbye to Dr Isabel and hello to Dr Hannah this week.
• Dr Hannah Hartman joins us in the final 6 months of the GP registrar program. She will be here in the clinic on Tuesday and Friday.
• We have also welcomed a new receptionist, Katie. 
• We would like to keep encouraging our patients to register with MyMedicare; This allows our doctors to claim the maximum incentive rate from the government & helps us continue bulk billing everyone for as long as possible.

​November 2025:

• ​Sadly, Dr Isabel Borthwick will be leaving our practice in January.  We are hopeful she might come back in 2027 when she returns to Brisbane!

• We will welcome Dr Hannah Hartman in mid-January who is a GP registrar nearing the end of her training.
• We have made the decision to trial Bulk Billing for our patients, with the introduction of the new government incentives. We are asking all of our patients to please sign up to MyMedicare so we can take full advantage of these incentives and be able to continue to bulk bill everyone (regardless of age / pension status).
• We currently have access to the Pfizer JN.1 vaccine. If you are due for a booster, give us a call and we can book you in to chat with your GP about your eligibility. Reminder - there is now no waiting period after an episode of Covid infection.
• We are still not taking any new patients (family of current patients may be accepted at the doctor's discretion)

May 2025: 

• We are so proud to announce that Dr Sharon Soh has gained her GP Fellowship! Well done! (She will be staying on at the clinic too).
• Dr Sharon has also completed training for Mirena Insertion, which we are now able to offer here at the clinic. Out of pocket costs may apply for this procedure.

February 2025:

• Dr Sharon, our registrar, is staying on with us for another year which we are all happy about!​
• We said goodbye and good luck to Kerrie our receptionist. She is starting a new adventure in a new field, and we wish her well. Kristie-Lee has taken her position on reception. 
• We will not be taking new patients for the next few months as we have some of our GP's taking some leave.  We will notify when our books are open again.

October 2024:

• Dr Jess has now finished up at Koobil Street Medical. We wish her well!
• ​Our Patient Satisfaction Survey results are in! Copy of results will be displayed in the waiting area, on Facebook and on here.
• Just a reminder to patients - if you are coming into the clinic with any respiratory symptoms, please wear a mask and let reception staff know.

August 2024:

• We are delighted to announce that Dr Jess O'Loughlin is expecting her second child. Unfortunately for us, that means she will be leaving! Her last week at the clinic will be at the end of September. We hope to see her back again after some time with her new bub. Watch this space!
