UPDATE ON MIXED BILLING CHANGES:
WE OFFER VIDEO CALLS
We will continue to offer short telehealth (15 min) appointments to eligible patients. To be eligible, you must have seen a doctor (in person- at the clinic) within the last 12 months. If you need to see a GP in person, please phone the clinic to have your needs assessed. We are only a phone call (07 3841 1011) away for all of your health care needs. Please note: If you have any symptoms of COVID, the doctors would request a telehealth appointment as a first step, to assess your needs. They may then ask you to attend the clinic for a car park consultation.
ADVICE FOR NEW AND RETURNING PATIENTS:
All new patients are required to phone the clinic to make appointments. New patients will require a 30-minute appointment with the nurse and then 30 minutes with the GP. If you are a returning patient after a period of 5 years or more, you will be considered a NEW PATIENT. In both of these cases you will need to complete a NEW PATIENT REGISTRATION form If you are a returning patient after a period of 2-5 years, you will require a 15-minute appointment with the nurse before seeing the GP, and an UPDATE YOUR DETAILS form to be completed. Click the button below for patient forms. We are currently taking limited new patients. Phone the clinic to check availability and make an appointment. Dr Amanda Kotzur, Dr Kellen Armour, Dr Jessica O'Loughlin and Dr Kym McGregor are currently unable to accept any new patients. We are a COVID-19 vaccination provider. Koobil Street Medical is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for the COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisation for our local area and wider community.
WE CURRENTLY HAVE ONLY PFIZER (XBB 1.5) VACCINES AT THE CLINIC Please do not come to your vaccination appointment: • if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19 • if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19 • if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or • if you are in quarantine. Some people may experience side effects after getting their COVID-19 vaccine.
Most side effects are mild and don’t last for long. If you have a side effect that worries you, please call us and we will book an appointment with your doctor.
