New Patients We are currently not accepting new patients. If you have attended our clinic before, but not within the past 3 years, you are considered a new patient. It is important to consider what issues you are hoping to cover during the appointment, so we can book the right length appointment for you. Only one patient can be seen during a consultation, so please book separate appointments for each family member. This helps the doctor give each person the time and care they need, whilst also running as close to time as possible. Standard appointment - 15 minutes - 1 issue for discussion Long appointment - 30 minutes - 2 or more issues For appointments regarding; - Paperwork - Mental health - Cervical screening - Skin checks - 75+ health assessments and/or private driver's license medicals Please book a long consult. You may be asked to reschedule, or schedule an additional appointment if the appropriate amount of time is not booked (this is at the doctor's discretion) If you're unsure of how long you need for your consult, please contact reception. Keeping your details up to date At each visit, it is a Medicare requirement and thus our policy to verify your details including name, DOB, address, Medicare/DVA number, concession cards, next of kin and emergency contacts. It is the patient's responsibility to ensure these details are up to date. Appointment Reminders SMS reminders are sent to your mobile phone via SMS, or via the HotDoc app one business day before your appointment. Please confirm your appointment by responding to the SMS, confirming via the app or by calling our reception staff. After Hours Arrangements: If you require medical attention outside of our normal business hours, please contact our after-hours partner, Hello Home Doctor Service, on 134100 to book a home visit or book online at https://hellohomedoctor.com.au/book-online/
A Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, or Minor Injury & Illness Clinic may also be available outside of business hours. |
Missed Appointment Fees If you are unable to attend an appointment, please let us know as we may be able to give that time to another patient. We ask that you please provide at least 2 hours notice when cancelling your appointment. A missed appointment fee of $100 may be charged if you fail to attend your appointment or provide sufficient notice for cancellation. This applies to ALL patients regardless of pension status. This fee carries no rebate and must be paid before any further bookings will be made. We accept payment by card only as no cash is used or kept on the premises. Telehealth
Telehealth consultations, offered by video or phone, are available to patients who have been seen in clinic within the last 12 months. This option provides a convenient alternative to in-person visits for suitable conditions. Due to the limitations of telehealth, please consider whether you require physical assessment before booking this type of appointment. For patients with infectious conditions, we also offer car park consultations - the doctors see patients either at their vehicle or on chairs out the front of the practice. To ensure the doctor is able to bill appropriately for the length of your telehealth consults, we ask patients to register with MyMedicare. Click the logo below to find out more information about MyMedicare and how to register Fees and Billing From 1/11/2025 Bulk Billing is available for all patients with a valid Medicare card. We have made the decision to trial Bulk Billing for our patients, with the introduction of new government incentives. We are asking all of our patients to please sign up to MyMedicare so we can take full advantage of these incentives and be able to continue to bulk bill everyone (regardless of age / pension status). There may be additional fees for some types of consultations / procedures. Speak to your GP for more information. If there is a charge - you will be charged the full amount on the day of your appointment, and we can process the Medicare rebate immediately. We accept payment by card only. No cash is used or kept on the premises. Non-Medicare eligible services such as: - Employment medical assessments - Commercial Driver's License - Worker's Compensation or medical/insurance reports will attract a fee payable at the time of consultation. |
